LICENSES FOR 9 MORE NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES ...
BELGRADE, 19 February - The Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia approved the issue of 9 energy licenses for natural gas distribution, retail and natural gas system operation.
At the Council Session held on 16 February the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia approved the issue of licenses to the following companies: “NOVI SAD-GAS“, “LP-GAS“ (Beograd), “ROD-GAS“ (Bačka Topola), “Čoka“, “Subotica gas“ , “Grejanje“ (Zrenjanin), “Gas-Ruma“ , GAS-FEROMONT (Stara Pazova) and “Ingas“ (Inđija).
Earlier, the Agency approved the licenses for the same activities for “Srbijagas“ (Novi Sad), “Vrbas-gas“, “Drugi – Oktobar“ (Vršac), “7.oktobar“, (Novi Kneževac), “SOMBOR-GAS“ (Sombor) and “YUGOROSGAZ“ Belgrade.
So far the Agency has approved the issue of 190 licenses. The issuing of licenses is one of the activities entrusted by the Energy Law to the Energy Agency, which is an operationally independent regulatory body on the national energy market.
