The Agency, in line with jurisdiction defined by the Energy Law, adopts the following methodologies:

The establishment of maximum revenue level should enable the coverage of justified operational costs, as well as an adequte yield from money and investments placed efficiently during the performance of regulated energy activity.
tariff elements tariff elements (electricity) Tariff elements represent phisical quantities which express the value of a product or of service. In case of electricity, depending on concrete activity and user/customer category, tariff elements include: active, power, active, energy, reactive energy and delivery point.
andtariffs tariffs (electricity) Value (price) expressions of tariff elements which depend on metering method, takeover conditions, quantities and purpose of energy consumption are called tariffs. In case of electricity, depending on concrete activity, tariffs include: billing power, extra power, higher daily tariff rate for active energy, lower daily tariff rate for active energy, one-tariff metering, active energy-public lighting, active energy – neon light signs, tariff for small consumption, tariff for moderate consumption, tariff for high consumption, etc. Prices for an individual customer/user, customer/user category or group are defined via the enforcement of tariffs to corresponding quantities (tariff elements).
